All rooms are ensuite with television and tea-making facilities.

Cornton House is an ideal touring base for the Donegal Southwest peninsula. Twentyseven kilometres to the east is the historic town of Donegal, chdrom.jpg - 33.2 Kwhere the castle of Red Hugh O'Donnell has been carefully restored and is open to the public. The same distance west is Glencolmcille, site of a monastic settlement by St. Columba in the 6th century and also a treasure of many prehistoric monuments. To the north lies Glenveagh National Park Ardara and Glenties, heartland of Donegal knitwear and tweed.

The Blue Flag beach at Fintra is just a ten-minute drive away and, from Killybegs itself, several angling boats chbrom.jpg - 23.9 K provide sport at remarkably reasonable rates. In the vicinity, there is pony trekking, hill walking and many beautiful drives taking in dramatic views of coasts and hills. There are excellent restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets and night-time entertainment ranging from the best of traditional to modern disco.

chsuite.jpg - 13.3 K Cornton House, has its own private and secure car park, is fully approved by Bord Failte, the Irish Tourist Board, and we accept all major credit cards.
