FEARS grew last night that missing rock star Richey James has killed himself after his car was found at a well-known suicide spot.
Police discovered the guitarist's Vauxhall Cavalier just yards from the Severn Bridge, Avon, at a service station car park. It had been there since last Tuesday.
SUFFERED
But there was no note from the Manic Street Preachers lyricist.
Richey, 28, who has suffered from depresssion and alcoholism, disapppeared from the band's hotel three weeks ago.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said last night: "Suicide is obviously a possibility, but there was nothing in the car to suggest that."
Police believe Richey drove from the hotel in Bayswater, West London, to his flat in Cardiff, Wales.
