BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS

When you run a programme you will see the programme version number displayed in the top left hand corner of the window as shown below.

Run programme 4 1 1 Maintain Bank Accounts. Up to 99 bank accounts can be opened and each will have its own cashbook and individual bank reconciliation facility.

· Bank Account No: Indicates the sequential number of the various accounts.

· Bank Account: We have set up the nominal ledger number 1800 as this is Global Tyres and Battery Ltd.

Current Bank Account Number.

· Dept: Accept 100.

· NL Description: This is the name of the current bank account.

· Bank Account Name: NatWest No 1 A/C.

· Reconcile Y/N: Enter Y. This defines whether or not we want the account to be reconciled.

Now you setup Bank no 4 as the Deposit Account. Use Nominal Ledger No 1820 as the Bank Account Number. Select Yes to reconcile. SAVE.
