I have been a member of Cork City Chess Club since September 2002 and last season played for the C-Team in the Munster B league. More information here.
I am in charge of the club's web pages (CorkChess.com). If anyone is thinking of popping down to the club I would recommend it. We meet in the Cork Bridge Club building on Patrick's Quay on Friday nights from about 8pm on.
I participated in the 2003 Bunratty Chess Festival in the Major section, scoring 3 out of 6, and generally enjoying myself (apart from an unfortunate match with a drunk that is). You can go to the Bunratty Chess Festival homepage and go to the results from Bunratty 2003
