We were working on the ash tree along with two other groups of two. We found the bark of the ash tree. We also found lots of leaves and nuts. The seed of the ash tree was very high up and the teacher had to lift girls up to get it. Siobhan got it and gave some to everyone. We also did a questionnaire about our tree. On the questionnaire it said to do a leaf rubbing and a bark rubbing. They both turned out rough. Then we all started collecting things from other trees like chestnuts, acorns, leaves and lots more. Then the teacher told us about fungus. Some people picked holly and found mushrooms. Then the teacher called us and Sally’s Mam took a picture of all of us. Then we lined up and headed back to the school.
