Dom Buckley takes Lurgan win

Dom Buckley Dom Buckley , co driven by Dougie Redpath today denied Kenny McKinstry his 10th victory in the Seat Lurgan Park Rally.
Buckley who took the lead off McKinstry after stage 6 held off the Subaru WRC to finish just 3.5 seconds ahead.

Maguire takes Rock win

Niall Maguire Niall Maguire consolidated his lead in the Dunlop National Championship when he won the Ravens Rock rally organised by Carrick-On-Suir Motor Club in Waterford today.
Niall with Paul McLoughlin alongside , inherited the lead after early leaders Michael Barrable (Subaru WRC) retired due to transmission problems and Davy Armstrong (Escort Cosworth) suffered multiple punctures.
Over what were described as very wet slippy conditions , Niall kept the car on the road to finish just over 1 minute ahead of Patrick Elliott who scored his highest ever top finish in 2nd place and Sean Gallagher overcoming rear suspension problems to finish 3rd.
