The school was involved in promoting awareness of the Internet in educating children by inviting pupils from both National Schools in Mountmellick for an Internet session. Approximately 30 senior students from each Primary School surfed the Internet under the guidance of their own teachers and by MCS computer teachers, Mr Hogan and Ms Wafer.
