Badminton
by Karen O'R
Badminton is a very fast sport that is played inside. The players use rackets to hit a ball with feathers over a net. The ball with feathers is called a shuttlecock. The racket looks like a tennis racket, but it is smaller and lighter. The game is played with one or two players on each side. Players get points if they hit the shuttlecock over the net and it lands on the other side. They also get points if players on the other side hit it and it lands outside the court. Players can run more than two kilometres in a match. You have to be very fast and very fit to play Olympic Badminton.
