Normans |

Miss Horkan taught us about the Normans and we made a Norman’s Motte and Bailey castle. We made the Motte with a cardboard box and lollypop sticks. We made the Bailey with a cardboard box and papier mache then we painted it green. We also made a cartoon of a battle between the Normans and the Irish using a digital camera and PowerPoint. The Normans won! By

Norman Fight |

It
was a dark dull day. There
was no sound to be heard. We
saw the Irish along the horizon. We
got ready for battle as fast as we could. We
saddled our horses and galloped away. We
got the archers with their bows. The
cavalry went after them. The
foot soldiers held their shields, Waiting
to finish them off. They
fought till they dropped. We
won. Victory
for us, so let's have a feast To
celebrate. |
