Our Compost Column |
||
We started our compost column on
October 11th and two months later we were able to use the liquid in the base
as fertiliser for the plants in the classroom. We used organic matter like tomatoes, potato skins, apple peels and apple cores, cabbage, lettuce etc. On the 11th of October the organic matter filled the column and on the 26th of November you can clearly see that it had bio-degraded or rotted away to less than half the original amount. We were amazed. How to make a compost column (Instructions coming soon!) |

We studied circuits first and then we used wire, batteries, lights and buzzers as well as recycled materials to construct our models. |
