Established in 1998, Media Access Training (MAT) is a Video and Media training
center in Tallaght. We provide FETAC
accredited media and video courses for unemployed adults and minority groups.
Many MAT graduates have successfully progressed to third level media/film
courses and careers in the media industry.
MAT is funded by FAS and
the South Dublin County Council through the Tallaght
Community Arts Center. MAT has also received support from the Dept. of
Arts & Gaeltacht. Annual screenings of project work are hosted by the
local U.C.I. Cinemas. Examples of student videos can be viewed by clicking
