All Weather Pitch
Our all weather pitch is located at the front of our school and has seen many competitions and matches of both hockey and, on a good day, PE classes. A maintenance contract is being discussed so that in the near future our hockey pitch will both maintained and lined regularly.
School Gym
Our school gymnasium was built in 1987 and has held not only basketball matches but also several school plays and musicals. It contains a stage, storage room, changing rooms with bathrooms and showers (although these are currently not in use), as well as several basketball hoops and nets. Upstairs, there is a canteen which serves hot food and has seating room for students to eat their lunches.
During good weather all sports are played outside but when the weather is wet, the gym has the facilities to play indoor tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and also includes ropes and a climbing frame.
Football Pitch
Our football pitch is located to the left of the main school. Football has been an active sport in the school for several years now and many matches and training sessions have been held on this pitch which doubles as a Gaelic field.
Running Track & Tennis Courts
During the summer of 1998, our running track was resurfaced and four tennis courts built in the centre. Students are now involved in both athletics and tennis.
