Midland Motor Club are delighted to announce details of its upcoming Multi Stage Rally on the 5^th April 2009. This year the organisers are delighted to have the Shannon Key West, Rooskey, Co. Leitrim as the new HQ for the event. The event is a qualifying round of the EXCEL Rally championship, Honda Cup Championship and Midlands Motors, Midlands East Rally Championship. The rally consists of approx. 130 Stage Kilometres. The format will be three stages by three giving a total of nine stages and the number of competitors is limited to 131 with priority to those in the various championships. This year sees Sean Cahill from Longford taking on the role of Clerk of the Course who along with his team are busy putting it all to-gether for the event. Entry forms available through Rally.ie or may be downloaded through the Club website at www.midlandmotorclub.com . Entries by hard copy only to event secretary Joesphine Lane-Flynn, Ravens Rock, Stonepark, Longford. Entries open 28^th February and the entry fee for 2009 is €545.
