| In order to survive in the oceans marine animals and plants have unique physical adaptations and relationships with other sea creatures that enable them to survive in their habitat. The sea creatures have all sorts of clever tricks, special body parts and partnerships with other sea creatures. Creatures living near the shore, shallow seabeds or deep sea floor can often hide or camouflage themselves in sand or mud, amoung rocks and coral, or in seaweeds. But creatures in the open ocean have no place to hide. |
