The Judo Competition
My name is Jason. I am twelve years old and I am in fifth class. I started judo lessons last September. The lessons cost four euro each night. They are on Wednesday nights from 8p.m. to 9p.m. There are mostly boys in this class and only four girls. I wear a white judo suit. My first competition was in St. Patrick's School in Kilkenny last Sunday, February 20th, at 11a.m. My father and brother came with me. I did three rounds of judo. One of my opponents was from Clonmel and the other two were from Waterford. I came third in my first competition and I won a bronze plaque. I enjoyed myself and we had a great day.
