Sister Sophia Kim from An- San City
in South Korea, spent six months in Ireland studying English before leaving
earlier this year for Peru to
begin her first mission assignment.
A kindergarten teacher before she joined the
Columban Sisters, Sophia did her training to
become a Columban Sister in her home country where
her parents and two brothers and two sisters still
live.
