Sister
Dawn Rosa Chiu Yeuk Ping made her First Profession as a Columban
Sister in Hong Kong on 16th of March, 2003. The
ceremony took place in Chai Wan Church, the paish in which
she grew up.
'This is a big commitment
for me and I make it with great joy', said Dawn Rosa. '
'My father died when we were very young and my mother had
to look after six young children by herself. I know
that she made many sacrifices and she
always did everything with joy. She taught me to take
joy in serving others too', she added.
Dawn Rosa studied and did her
preparation for religious life in the Philippines.
Part of her formation programme involved her in
outreach mission to children who live in the inner
city around Manila, Philippines.
