Attendance at domestic buildings:   €100.00
Attendance at all other type of buildings and at all incident types will be based on a rate per fire appliance per hour.  The rate for 2007 is €500.00

Our Unit The unit is a retained station with nine part-time firefighters. We are situated on a crossroad's of two national primary roads the N5, recently bypassed to south of the town, and the N17. We are four miles from Ireland West Airport (Knock).

Boston Fire Department Badge 671 is permanently assigned to Charlestown Unit Mayo County Fire Service

Dangerous Junctions on new Bypass A Bus takes the tight turn onto the old Charlestown Road. The traffic behind is forced to brake suddenly.
