Monamolin Foróige Club November 2002
Monamolin Foroige club is up and running again, most Friday nights from
7:30pm to 9:00pm. Our new first leader this year is Shirley O’ Connor,
with Jenny Kinsella, Sandra Doran, Barbara Curran and Willie Walsh all
becoming leaders helping with the club. Mary and Siobhan are still here,
but leaving the running of club to new leaders. We have a lot on this
year, not least, helping sponsor the Special Olympics for the Gorey
area. Our Foroige Regional Day will be held in Wexford this year, and
will have Clubs from Killkenny, Carlow ,Wicklow & Wexford.
We have purchased a lot of equipment in the year, with pool/snooker
table, C.D player, Softballs, a variety of games and of course more bats
and balls for table tennis.
We are always on the look out for anyone willing to help out with the
club, only requirements over 21years.
