Geanntraí
(TnaG, Ireland)
Danú appeared as special
guests on the fourth annual series of "Geanntraí",
TnaG's longest running Irish traditional music series. The
programme was recorded in Waterford City's Garter Lane Theatre in
November and the full half-hour was dedicated to Danú. The
programme was shown on Tuesday, January 12th 1999 on Teilifís Na
Gaeilge.

The Late Late Show (R.T.É., Ireland)
Three of the lads appeared
in October as special guests with Liam Clancy and his band
Clancy, O' Connell and Clancy. The song they played was "The
Bergen" and featured Donnchadh on pipes, Jessi on fiddle and
Tom on whistle. Another notable guest on the show that night was
John Hume, who had just hours earlier learned of his winning the
Nobel Peace Prize. The Late Late Show is the longest running live
chat-show in the world.
The Cnupan Festival (B.B.C. Wales)
The Festival was held in
Wales in June 1998 and was recorded and broadcast by the B.B.C.
in widescreen format. It was the last TV appearance by Daire
Bracken with the band and the recording was a great success.
