Club Notes
In the senior football league Moorefield seniors continued on their winning ways with a hard fought win over Raheens on Tuesday evening last. They remain unbeaten with full points from their four games to date.The under sixteen ‘A’ team also have full points from their games continuing on their winning way with a comprehensive win over Leixlip away on Friday evening last on the score line of 2-16 to 0-5. There are several games this week involving club teams and for full details, a date and venues please consult the fixture list on the Sports Pages.
Meanwhile underage coaching and training for under six to under under twelve, boys and girls, continues this Saturday meeting at Scoil Mhuire at 10.45 a.m. New members welcome.

Club Notes
Any fears we might have had about the fitness of our Senior Footballers following their trip to Lanzarote were quickly dispelled on Tuesday evening last when they travelled to Clane and recorded a comprehensive win over the home teamin Div.1 of the league and then on Thursday evening they had a hard fought victory over Carbury in the Herbert Cup, two nights later they were out again in the league recording a big win over Rheban and on Sunday evening they rounded off a very successful week when they took the Herbert Cup for the second year running when they defeated Raheens in the final on the score 2-15 to 1-04 several of the players lining out for the second time in in as many hours having already done duty with the County team earlier that afternoon.
The U/16 A team also had a good win over Confey on Friday last on the score 1-12 to 2-02 . Meanwhile underage Training & Coaching for u/6 up to u/12 Boys&Girls continues each Saturday morning meeting at Scoil Muire at 10.45am Traning for Camogie adult and underage is now each Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.

Congratulations and best wishes to Bailey Murray (a member of the 1948 championship winning team) on celebrating his 80th Birthday this week, from all the Committee and Members of Moorefield G.A.A Club. Bailey is now living in Bradford England.

Club Notes
The Senior Footballers are back on terra-firma big time following their return home from a most enjoyable and most deserving holiday in "Lanzorote". They face a hectic week on the playing field with first on tuesday night they are away to Clane in the league then on thursday the 12th they play Carbury in the semi-finals of the "Herbert Cup" and then on Saturday evening they are at home to Rheban in a S.F.L back match. Other fixtures to hand involving club teams include Thursday 12th U/14 Football Feile Moorefield home to St. Kevins at 6.30pm.
Underage coaching and training for Boys/Girls u/6 to u/121 continues as usual on Saturday morning commencing 11am meeting at Scoil Mhuire at 10.45am(New Members Welcome) For further information call Gerry Moran @ 433164 or Timmy Durney @ 432647.
