The Senior Footballer's enjoyed a hard earned victory over JohnstownBridge in the league on Saturday evening last in what was appalling weather (rain and even hail stones). Despite the weather the game was very entertaining and some good football was played by both teams. The Moorefield team wore black arm bands as a mark of respect to the late Frank Whyte R.I.P. The final score was Moorefield 0-13 to Johnstown 0-10.
The ladies Football team play Prosperous in the league in Moorefield this coming sunday (9th april). the Girls will be wearing their new jerseys sponsored by THE CURRAGH INN.
