The Ladies Football team enjoyed victory against
Kilcock yesterday, in what was their first competitive outing. The final score
was Moorefield 1-00 and Kilcock 0-02.
The Moorefield goal was scored by Lisa Morrissey. Best for Moorefield were the
back line of Vivian Clifford, Mary Doyle and Karen Cummins others were Sine
Dowling, Jinnifer Curran and Teresa Kelly. All of the panel can be proud of
their very first outing.
The Draw for the 2000 Kildare Senior Football Championship was made yesterday,

The Moorefield Annual Diner Dance was held on friday night last in Toughers, with music provided by Johnny Peters a great night was had by all. The following awards were awarded on the night.
Club Person of the Year : Carrie McDermott.
Senior Footballer : Ronan Sweeney.
Senior B Footballer : Gerry Christy.
Under 21 Footballer : Dave Barry.
Junior Footballer : Niall Whyte.
Minor Footballer : Paraig Flynn.
Senior Hurler : Bennie McMullan.
Juinor Hurler : William McDonald.
Camogie : Ellen Ryan.
A special award was also made to Fr.John Stapleton who is leaving the parish in the near futher.
