On the playing front it was a mixed weekend with the Seniors recording an excellent win over Kilcullen in the top of the table clash played in Moorefield on Friday evening last the score being 1-15 to 1-05 a feature of the game being the excellent free taking of Ronan Sweeney. Both U/14 football teams recorded wins over Leixlip and Caragh respectively and remain on course for the semi-final spots in Div.1 & Div.3 of the League Championship. The U/16's due to exams have been idle since winning the League however this coming weekend they are making a trip to Salthill in Galway where they will play a couple of games against local teams and we wish them a very enjoyable weekend. The dissapointment of the weekend was the Junior A's going under by a single point to Round Towers in the championship a game they could have won but for too many missed chances.
