Club Notes
Following the break from inter club matches due to the Foot & Mouth situation it was a welcome return to the domestic scene with several games down for decision. On Saturday it was mixed fortunes for the U/16s with the A team winning comprehensively away to Celbridge, while the B team lost to a very strong Caragh team, Also on Saturday a much depleted Junior team went down to Sarsfield in the final of last years Div:1 South Junior league. Sunday saw the Minors record a home win over Celbridge on the score of Moorefield 0-13 to Celbridge 0-07, sunday afternoon the Seniors travelled to Johnstown Bridge for the opening round of the league and despite being short several first team players showed what champions are made of when they came from 7 points down to record a deserving win over the home side on the score of 1-08 to 0-08.
Fixtures this coming weekend include Minor Football League Div:1 Moorefield at home to Na Fianna at 11.30am sun 1st April.
