Passionist Students Summer 2001

Mariusz Pocalujko C.P (pictured on the left)

Mariusz, aged 23 was born in Poslek, Poland of Polish parents Andrzej and Grazyna.

He entered the Passionists 1996 and was professed in 1999. He is in the midst of his studies of philosophy and theology.

Having finished his introductory course in the English language in Dublin he returns to Poland to the Passionist Monastery at Lodz where there are nine priests and five students. 

Kasomeno Mwengwe Cornelio C.P.
(pictured in the centre)

Cornelio, just thirty years of age,was born in Ndola in Zambia in 1971, the son of Mwengwe Corneille and Kawama Marie-Jeanne.

He entered the Passionists at Rocca di Papa in Rome and was professed 15th September 2000 in Monte Argentario, Italy.

Having completed a Biology course in University and his first cycle of Philosophy he returns to Rome in the Autumn to study Theology at the Lateran University. At that stage he will live in the Generalate in Rome.

Michael Pomili C.P.
(pictured on the right)

Michael was born on 6th September 1975 in Macerta, Italy, the son of Vincenzo and Franca Pomili.

He joined the Passionist and was professed at Moricone near Rome on 13th September 1997. Moricone is the Shrine of Blessed Bernard Mary C.P. who was beatified with Blessed Charles of Mount Argus.

Trained as a Computer Programmer, after profession he studied Theology in Rome. For the past year he has been studing Biblical Theology in Jerusalem. Now in Dublin he is working to improve his English.

In Augsut he returns to Italy to work at the Shrine of St. Gabriel at Isola before continuing his studies in Jerusalem.
