Fr. Dermot Power C.P. 1918-2006

On 28th October 2006 the death occurred suddenly in Mount Argus of Fr. Dermot Power C.P. He was 88 years of age and in the 64th year of his priesthood.

Born in Waterford on January 26, 1918, he was professed a Passionist on September 20, 1936. Fr. Dermot was ordained on February 28, 1942.

Requiem Mass was celebrated on Friday 3rd November followed by burial in the community cemetery in Mount Argus.
