With
regard to the statue of the Infant Jesus, the Mother Vicaress can keep
it as long as she wishes to take care of it, for her care is more
pleasing to God and better than mine. I would desire to have the virtues
of this Sovereign Lord, who for love of us became an infant and has told
us in his Gospel that, if we do not become like little children, we will
not enter heaven. He is saying that, if we are not humble, simple, meek,
and loving with these true virtues of a childlike soul, we will not
enter heaven. Therefore, ask this dear Mother that she pray the Divine
Infant to give me these virtues. |
