If
you wish to (lead) a small meditation (with others) on the
Passion, keep the book in hand and do not expand from the reading except
for some affection, an act of sorrow, a good resolution, an act of
virtue, etc., in accord with the status of those meditating, etc.
Encourage them with brief words to take up this holy exercise in the
Presence of God and, above all, to attend to the duties of their state
of life! Do this only on feast days and when the ceremonies in the
church are over. |
