Nine sons of Gamin were 1st. Prize winners at official
Limousin Society sales in 2000. Three were overall
champions, two were reserve champions. A daughter won the
All Ireland Heifer RDS Spring Show 2000. National yearling bull
champion at National Ploughing Championships and reserve over all
champhion. Two sons standingin A.I. Eighteen of his sons sold in
2000 for an average of £3430 and six heifers averaged £2823.

Here we see Gamin's pedigree. On his sire's
side we have Delta, who is a half brother to Ferry, they
both being sons of As de Pic. Also note that his dam is a daughter
of Noduleux, who is also the sire of Villy,
grandfather of Digitale, Gamin's mother. Such close breeding
is very common in France and in this case has had the effect of fixing
in a very high degree of docility. In Ireland, docility is
always considered the no.1. starting trait for the Limousin breed.
