More about GAMIN and how to order his semen

Nine sons of Gamin were 1st. Prize winners at official Limousin Society sales in 2000.  Three were overall champions,  two were reserve champions.  A daughter won the All Ireland Heifer RDS Spring Show 2000.  National yearling bull champion at  National Ploughing Championships and reserve over all champhion. Two sons standingin A.I.  Eighteen of his sons sold in 2000 for an average of £3430  and six heifers averaged £2823.

In 2002 his progeny have already made their mark on the sales ring,  as can be seen by looking at the sales reports in  www.irishlimousin.com

Here we see Gamin's  pedigree.  On his sire's side we have Delta,  who is a half brother to Ferry,  they both being sons of As de Pic.  Also note that his dam is a daughter of Noduleux,   who is also the sire of Villy,  grandfather of Digitale,  Gamin's mother.  Such close breeding is very common in France and in this case has had the effect of fixing in a very high degree of docility.  In Ireland,  docility is always considered the no.1. starting trait for the Limousin breed.

Underneath we also see his current Irish BLUP indexes.

At present we have an excellent stock of semen for Gamin  which we are selling at €40 a straw.  Conact Michael on ** 353 65 7084237 tel / fax  or email  mpsexton@eircom.net

On right we see a picture of Monsieur and Madame Allignet and their son from whom we purchased Gamin in France. Also back centre is Co.Clare co-breeder Mr.P.J.McNulty of the Oaklands herd.
