10/02/02 Thanks to Gary Truman and his band of merry band members and supporters for travelling from Dromore to Drum for Christianity Explained on a wet Sunday night. All in all over 80 people were there and all were greatly encouraged and entertained by the Dromore praise band. Thanks also to Erica for her informative interview and to Richard for stepping in at last minute to talk. You's are all very welcome back any time!!!

09/02/02 PULSE was also held in Drum. A good crowd of young people turned out and a great night was had by all. Thanks to Richard and his band of merry men and women for all their help.

08/02/02 The basketball, in Drum, was the last of our sporting events. About 40 people turned up to play. All the points have been added and Newbliss have emerged as this year's winners of the Sports Shield! Congratulations to all on the Newbliss team and thanks to Malcolm and all who helped out on the night.

26/01/02 Thanks to Jean Mackarel for speaking at The Loft on the subject of Holiness. An amazing subject, Jean explained it to us in a very clear way. Thanks to the PYM Band for playing, the first time we've had live music at The Loft, and a great success methinks!

13/01/02 Christianity Explained was also kindly hosted by 2nd Ballybay on Sunday 13th. This month's theme was Grace - Not Works. Thanks to Brian (Gary Glitter) Black for speaking with us and for enduring the interrogation, I mean interview! Thanks to the band and especially to Wendy for all her work. Our thoughts and prayers are with Elsie as she recovers from a short spell in hospital before Christmas. Blessings to you and David.

12/01/02 PULSE headed to 2nd Ballybay on Saturday and had a great evening. The theme for the nite was balloonarama, so you can probly guess what sort of stuff went on there. A good crowd of young people turned up and great craic was had by all. Thanks to Richard and the posse for all their help!

11/01/02 Happy New Year! The football comes round quickly in the New Year, but we had a great crowd in Ballybay Community Centre on Friday nite. Thanks to Malcolm, Erskine, Richard, Robert and everyone else who turned up. Keep an eye on the site to see how the scores stack up for the shield.

24/12/01 Thanks to all at Ballyalbany for hosting the Its Christmas! event. A really good crowd turned up and we had a great evening. Its nice to take some time out on Christmas Eve to think about Jesus. We were able to focus on him through carol singing and drama and the message brought by Mervyn. Thanks again !

22/12/01 The Loft party was a great laugh. From balloon bursting to the battle of the boing we sure worked up an appetite for supper! Thanks to Cathal Duffy for his very interesting and challenging talk. Thanks to all who attended or helped out in any way.

09/12/01 Thanks to Paul McEvoy for travelling from Newtownabbey to be with us for Christianity Explained on Sunday 9th December. Our theme was Jesus - His Resurrection. Paul also endured a probing and quick fire interview - fair play to you!

Thanks to Elsie, Wendy and the Band for performing so well and for putting such good effort into praising The Lord in this way. Our next practice is on Saturday 5th January (I think!). Special thanks to Castleblayney for hosting us and making everything ready.

08/12/01 Castleblayney kindly hosted PULSE in December. A smallish number turned up ... probably all exhausted after the bowling on Friday night! Thanks to Richard and the crew for putting on a good show!

07/12/01 This year saw the biggest turn out ever for the 10 Pin Bowling. Over two nights, we had a total of 96 young people. The scores will be recorded and the stop scorers in the age brackets 12-14 & 15-17 will be picked to bowl for Monaghan at the Synod Youth Weekend in March. We can send 8 teams of 3 people (two boys, one girl or two girls, one boy). Thats four teams for the junior level (12-14) and four teams for the senior level (15-17). The names will be picked and application forms posted before next February. Congratulations to Colin Lovett who was the highest scorer overall with 133 points! Thanks to the staff of Blayney Bowl and all who helped out on the night(s).

11/11/01 Sunday 11th saw the last of our Bailieborough based events, with Christianity Explained. We had a good crowd and were treated to a very interesting talk from Rev. David Searle - who explained the meaning of some difficult Bible words in a very clear way. We interrogated, I mean interviewed David and found out some very interesting things about him! For example, he loves to dance, wants to parachute and drinks a litre of white grape juice a day! Thanks to the PYM Praise band for practising so hard and performing so well. God has really gifted PYM with very talented young people. Thanks also to the Bailieborough people for hosting the PYM this weekend. See you's next year folks !

10/11/01 Trinity Hall was Pulseating on Saturday night - 10th November. Between 30 and 40 young people turned up and had great fun making designer costumes out of bin bags and imitating bananas using yellow toilet roll! Many thanks to Richard and the Pulse committee for putting on such a great evening. Of course it couldn't have happened if you weren't there so ... THANK YOU !

09/11/01 Thanks to all who travelled to Bailieborough for Volleyball on Friday 9th November. Congratulations to the winning team - we'll post their names here soon, so watch this space. This is the first time we've done volleyball and it went brilliantly - 8 teams took part. thanks to Mal dude and his team for organising and to all of yous for turning up! Keep an eye out here to see how the volleyball affects the sports shield.

28/10/01 By all accounts MAD 3 was an excellent event this year. Plenty of fun and activity in the different zones. Thanks to God for safe travelling and for a great weekend. If you want to go to MAD 4, we'll be taking bookings before summer next year.

27/10/01 Thanks to Rev. Angus McCullough who spoke at The Loft on Saturday 27th October. He continued with The Loft's theme for the year, which is an overview of the Bible, and spoke on The Fall of Man.

Congratulations to Caroline and Paul for proving to us all that they are really good friends (not that we ever doubted you's of course !!)

14/10/01 Due to a broken ankle (DOH!), I was unable to attend Christianity Explained on Sunday night (14th October). Muchos gracious (?) to Richard for stepping in (bad pun) at the last minute.

This is the first in our series stepping through the Christianity Explained course. Thanks to Nigel McCullough who travelled from Bangor to be with us that night to speak on the subject - Jesus, Son Of God.

Thanks to the PYM praise band and especially to Elsie and Wendy for licking us into shape for the night. We're always looking for talented folks to play or sing with the praise band. If you'd like to serve the Lord in this way, just let us know!

12/10/01 Congratulations to our hosts, Newbliss who won this years Its A Knockout competition on Friday 12th October. Congrats to FBD (First Ballybay/Drumkeen (I think!)) for coming second and Ballyalbany for coming third.

We had ten teams for this years event, which is 80 people ... Newbliss hall was bunged ... we had great craic! Thanks to all who attended and especially to the Dude for all his help!
