This year saw the biggest turn out ever for the 10 Pin
Bowling. Over two nights, we had a total of 96 young people.
The scores will be recorded and the stop scorers in the
age brackets 12-14 & 15-17 will be picked to bowl
for Monaghan at the Synod Youth Weekend in March. We can
send 8 teams of 3 people (two boys, one girl or two girls,
one boy). Thats four teams for the junior level (12-14)
and four teams for the senior level (15-17). The names
will be picked and application forms posted before next
February. Congratulations to Colin Lovett who was the
highest scorer overall with 133 points! Thanks to the
staff of Blayney Bowl and all who helped out on the night(s). |

Sunday 11th saw the last of our Bailieborough based events,
with Christianity Explained. We had a good crowd
and were treated to a very interesting talk from Rev.
David Searle - who explained the meaning of some difficult
Bible words in a very clear way. We interrogated, I mean
interviewed David and found out some very interesting
things about him! For example, he loves to dance, wants
to parachute and drinks a litre of white grape juice a
day! Thanks to the PYM Praise band for practising so hard
and performing so well. God has really gifted PYM with
very talented young people. Thanks also to the Bailieborough
people for hosting the PYM this weekend. See you's next
year folks ! |

Christianity Explained on Sunday night (14th
October). Muchos gracious (?) to Richard for stepping
in (bad pun) at the last minute.
This
is the first in our series stepping through the Christianity
Explained course. Thanks to Nigel McCullough who travelled
from Bangor to be with us that night to speak on the
subject - Jesus, Son Of God.
Thanks
to the PYM praise band and especially to Elsie and Wendy
for licking us into shape for the night. We're always
looking for talented folks to play or sing with the
praise band. If you'd like to serve the Lord in this
way, just let us know!
