Five Training Modules

Module One

A discussion about safety equipment and clothing.

Aimed at giving the rider the knowledge to select the appropriate clothing.

By the end of this module the rider will know the importance of being warm, dry and protected.

Module Two

A practical familiarisation of the machine and its controls.

Aimed at showing the rider where the various controls are and how to operate and maintain them.

By the end of this module the rider will understand the position and use of controls.

Also the importance of basic maintenance and how to carry it out.

Module Three

Practical riding skills in a controlled environment.

Aimed at teaching the rider proficiency in handling the machine.

Including exercises in slow riding, turning, braking, gear changing and rear observation.

By the end of this module the rider will be competent in handling the machine in a variety of simulated situations.
