Spectator Information
- Motor Sport is dangerous and spectators are present at a
rally entirely at their own risk.
- Neither the organising Motor Club, event sponsors or local
landowners on whose property you may choose to be, can be responsible for any
injury which you may suffer while you are attending a rally.
- There will be a team of trained marshals and their
assistants to guide you in relation to places where it is considered unsafe
for you to be.
- These volunteers have your safety uppermost in mind, and we
would appeal to you to heed their advice and follow their directions.
- In the event of a location becoming unsafe, the organising
Motor Club will have no hesitation in stopping the running of a stage, and
then all will share in disappointment at not seeing the cars in action. Please
therefore consider your fellow spectator when asked to move to an alternative
location.
- The public are not allowed at Stage start or Stage finish
locations - so please pick an intermediate place from which to watch.
- Events are controlled by radio, and a safety plan is in
operation. However, if you are near the scene of an accident and medical
assistance is required, each house along the stage has been provided with an
emergency number to call, or simply dial the emergency services on 112 or 999.
- In the event of an accident please remember that following
cars will be arriving at high speed, often at over two per minute, so do not
block the road.
