Munster Football Association

Welcome to the official website of the Munster Football Association. The association was founded in 1922 and is charged, by the FAI, with the administration of Association Football in the Munster region. There are currently 12 leagues and over 800 teams affiliated to the Association.

The Association is administered by five honorary officiers and an eightteen person council along with an administrator/secretary. The council and officiers are drawn from the affiliated leagues. Various sub committees, made up of council members, discipline, grounds, appeals, etc.

The MFA headquarters is at Turners Cross, Cork which is a modern 7,000 capacity stadium with seating on the four sides of the ground and floodlight facilities.

The Association organises three cup competitions each season, namely, The Lucozade Sport Munster Senior Cup, The Lucozade Sport Munster Junior Cup and The Lucozade Sport Munster Youths Cup.
