2nd Peadar Night

The Peadar night of 2005 is now history but once again it was a wonderful night. Jimmy Mhicky Jimmy did 'Fear an Tí 'even though he couldn't claim full Peadar status. Hughie Beag, his son and Maighread John Ghráinne performed their sketch 'The Planning Office' which is always a good laugh. Several others sang, among them Paddy Joe who, like Cliff Richards, goes on forever. The highlight of the night was the announcing of the new Chieftain. Seamus Rodgers was a great choice as borne out by the citation read by Ann Marie O'Donnell. And even without that list of accomplishments we would still consider him worthy of this high office. We wish him all the best during his term of office. Here below are some photos of the night. I await more.
