Prior to our visit to London to participate in the Bi-annual parade with the Royal Naval Association we were invited to a reception in Birkenhead at the Wirral Branch of the RNA. It was terrific evening and no stone was left unturned to make our visit an most enjoyable occassion. Becky os the Wirral Branch made sure there was pleanty of hot food and sandwiches and tray after tray of rum was handed out. Naturally a sing song started. During the evening the Irish Naval Association National PRO Terry Cummins presented the chairman of the Wirral Branch with a framed embroidered Irish Naval Association Crest.
