Hope you are keeping well and looking forward to your visit to Liverpool in June.

As you may be aware, things will be a little hectic over conference weekend with over 600 shipmates attending the weekend's events.

We have arranged for your party (for those who wish) a celebration of the Holy Mass in the Empire Suite at the Adelphi Hotel for 0900 on the Sunday Morning, or for those of your guests who prefer a lie in, may I suggest the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Christ the King where Mass is celebrated at 1000 & 1100 (sung Choral service) The Cathedral is just under 10 minutes walk from the hotel, or is accessible by bus, or from the taxi rank outside the hotel. There will be ample time after these services to make your way to the Pier Head prior to the parade at about 1245.

The Sunday RNA Church service will commence at 1145 in St Nicholas Church adjacent to the Pier Head where the parade will form up at the conclusion of the Church service. St Nicholas church has a capacity of about 250, so it follows with the numbers attending this is going to be a tight squeeze. May we ask, those shipmates who attend an earlier service to give way to those RNA branches and Standards who will be hoping to attend the 1145 service. Of course all are welcome at the parade on the Pier Head. May we suggest you asemble there at about 1230 prior to the conclusion of the service at St Nicholas when you will be joined by those who attended that service and will form up for the parade.

A shuttle bus service will operate from the hotel to St Nicholas church from 1100 and will return to the hotel at the conclusion of the parade for those who wish to use this service.

Please, if you have any queries about the above arrangements please contact me. We do hope you will enjoy your stay with us, and although the numbers attending have exceeded all our expectations we know you will enjoy your visit.

Kind regards

Charles (Area Secretary)
