Back| On Friday, 18th of
May, a group formed a Youth Club for boys and girls, aged 12 - 15.
There are five leaders: Eileen Clifford, Mary Coach, Dan Murphy, Dan
O'Riordan & Tess Allen. The Youth Club organise
gun-games, tours, competitions, camping and a lot of enjoyable and fun
times. It is held in the gym at the our school on Fridays, 7.30
8.30 pm. The leaders wanted us to ask our parents to give of some of their
time to us each month. It's a good idea for the children because
it keeps us out of trouble.... It's £1 every night to join plus
£6 insurance every year. The rules include no mobiles, no
smoking, no alcohol, to respect the people around you and the property
of the school. Every week, two children get to pick what they want
the group to do that night. The Youth Club community is growing
fast all over Ireland.
