is a Norfolk & Western Class J 4-8-4 Express Passenger Locomotive built
in 1943. Capable of 15,000 miles per month they with the A’s and Yb’s
of this exceptional Railroad continued to operate until 1960. 611 along
with Class A 1218 are on display at the Virginia Museum of Transportation
Roanoke.
