Bray Karate Club

A Brief History

A vibrant new club, under the guidance of 1st Dan Black Belt Ciara Reid, was launched in November 2002. Since its opening the club has gone from strength to strength with numbers increasing by the day.

Training varies from syllabus work, kata, and sparring and there is a strong emphasis on fitness work and healthy living. A great atmosphere exists within the club, with every student working at their own pace.

The juniors are developing at a great speed while the seniors are showing character of the top level. With the two classes showing such charisma it isn’t a surprise that the club is growing with such speed.

Training takes place twice a week in Bray School Project which is located on Killarney Road (just behind St. Fergals Church on the corner of the Boghall Road).
