Club Meeting

Our club meetings are held on every second Wednesday of the each Month, and the next meeting will be held in Muldoon's of Ardee, at 9pm on Wednesday 09/08/00.

Glendower Construction has kindly sponsored for the second year running, the prize of a rally experience voucher, for the marshal registration competition. To enter the draw, you must attend and marshal at one the NEMC's marshal outings during the year. Further information will be posted...

NEMC Single Stage Rally 2000

The Northeast Motorsports Club will be running a single stage rally on Sunday 5th of November 2000. Regulation for the event will be available on 25/9/00. This will be the club's first Stage rally and will be offering a very challenging event.

The club is running a loose surface autocross on Sunday 6th of August 2000. The venue for the event has been confirmed at Murphy's Quarry in Julianstown, Co.Meath, just off the N1.

Navigator wanted for the 2000 rally season. Driver has won class 9 in National and Border Championship '99. Phone Thomas on 0801693-889072 after 7pm.

Ollie Burke won the B race in Formula Vee at Mondello Park. He was also very competitive in the A race, and is getting off to a good start to his season. Tarrant Engineering, Meath Hill built Ollie's engine for this race. Pat Tarrant also rebuilt Patsy Carberry's engine, which went well for him in last weekends Single Stage Rally in Longford.

Brian Hearty is winning Formula Vee races again this season. Talk to Me Mobile Phones is sponsoring Brian and other local drivers including Sean Woods in the Italian saloon racing. LMFM is giving reports on these competitors.
