Since its inception in 1993 the Enterprise Development Programme has assisted the setting up and/or development of more than 20 Enterprises. The course pioneered by the Shannon Curriculum Development Centre places fundamental focus on the practical learning based on real life experiences, group participation and ongoing interaction with relevant support agencies.

The Enterprise Development Course develops the participants' ability to:

  • Become self-employed
  • Develop an embryonic business idea to determine its feasibility
  • Increase their business skills
