My own branch of the clan is known as the Ruairi Dohertys, ie the Red Dohertys. True to the name I've got red hair, married a red head and have a red headed daughter ! Such dedication !

My ancestors might of come from the Carndonagh area in North Inishowen..or maybe we are all Viking descendants and related to the red headed chick in ABBA ?!!
