Clare Crusaders


Clare Crusaders is a charitable group of walkers, runners and cyclists who raise money for children with special needs in County Clare by undertaking long distance runs and cycles. It was founded by Howard Flannery of Ennis, County Clare, in 2005.

  • Members do not need to reside in County Clare to become a Clare Crusader; contact them via their website to join
  • There is a special promotional team jersey that may be purchased, and members may walk, run or cycle anywhere in the world to raise funds for the Clare Crusaders
  • All members residing in Ireland, or visiting Ireland, are encouraged to participate in the annual Dublin City Marathon (October Bank Holiday Monday) in aid of the Clare Crusaders
