Flannery Fork in North Carolina - (watercourse)


There is a watercourse in mountainous region in the western part of North Carolina called Flannery Fork. It rises in Moses H. Cone Memorial Park (also known as Flat Top Manor), two miles west of the town of Blowing Rock in southern Watauga County, near milepost 294 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This river then flows into Trout Lake and thence north-east to join the East Fork and the Middle Fork in becoming the South Fork of the New River about two miles south-east of the town of Boone.
