The Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home Foundation in Georgia - (literary society)


The Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home Foundation is a non-profit corporation funded by donations and staffed by volunteers. The Foundation works to maintain the childhood home of the author Mary Flannery O’Connor (1925 – 1964) at 207 East Charleton Street, Savannah, Georgia as a literary heritage centre; and organises regular series of lectures and readings in tandem with the local university. All readings are free and open to the public.

The Foundation produces an occasional journal "Friends of Flannery" which is available by annual subscription.
