There is a summit called Flanly Peak in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Range in California. This feature has an elevation of 2,099 feet (640 metres), and is located near Oregon House in Yuba County; about 2 miles (3.2 kilometres) north of Marysville Road on Indiana School Road, then 900 feet (275 metres) south on a dirt road. Grid co-ordinates 39º 21’ 00" N and 121º 17’ 43" W.

There were proposals in 1999 to name a nearby residential development Flanly Springs.
