If you are travelling the Cork to Macroom Road, take the Ballincollig Bypass and after about 25 minutes, look out for a sign for Crookstown, Bantry, Dunmanway.
When you arrive in Crookstown, take a left in the Village at Clifford's Bar.
Travel for 10 minutes till you arrive in Beal na Blath - take a right here, following the run of the main road.
Travel for 15 minutes until you arrive in Coppeen, where you need to take a left at the main cross just before the Barrett's Bar and shop.
Follow the main road for 5 minutes (be careful of the cross here - there is a sharp corner where you need to keep to the left and follow the main road).
Travel for approx 4 minutes until you come to a crossroads - you will see a sign for Castletown where you take a right and shortly afterwards another right.
Follow the main road for a couple of minutes until you arrive in Castletown Village.
Route 2 (Via Bandon)
If you are travelling the Cork Bandon road, take the road off the Bandon roundabout and follow the route for about 30 minutes until you arrive in Bandon town.
At the main junction in Bandon, take a right and left after the bridge.
You will arrive at another junction shortly afterwards, where you need to take a left (following the course of the main road).
Follow the signs till you arrive in Enniskeane Village. Just after the Castleahan Bar, take a right. The signposts feature Castletown and Coppeen.
Travel this road for approx 10 minutes until you arrive at a crossroads - here you drive straight through the cross (NOTE: You do not have right of way at this cross - make sure you check for vehicles coming from your left before you drive on).
After about 100 yards you will come to a second crossroads - take a right here and follow the main road for a couple of minutes until you arrive in Castletown village.
