FIRST CONFESSION AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2010

Programme of events:

1. Enrolment Ceremony for St Olafs children will take place in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally on Sunday Sept 20th at the 10.00am Family Mass
2. Meeting of Parents in St. Olaf's School Hall on Wednesday, January 20th. at 8.00 p.m.
3. First Confession takes the form of Celebration of the Sacrament of Penance Rite 2 at which parents are requested to attend, along with any other family members who wish to participate. This ceremony takes place on Wednesday, February 10th at 8.00p.m. in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally.
4. Meeting of Parents in Queen of Angels School Hall. on Wednesday, March 24th. at 8.00 p.m.
5. First Holy Communion, Saturday, April 24th. at 10.00 a.m. in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally.

CONFIRMATION 2010

Programme of events:

1. CONFIRMATION MEETING for parents/ guardians only on Wednesday, November 11th at 8pm in Queen of Angels school

2. Service of Commitment for Parents and children in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally on Sunday 15th December at the 11.30am Mass.

2. CONFIRMATION RETREAT in St Benildus Pastoral Centre on May 10th & 11th during school hours.

3. PRAYER SERVICE OF LIGHT in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally,on Wednesday 12th May at 8pm. Parents / guardians are requested to attend.

4. The SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION will be administered in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally, on Tuesday May 18th at 11.00 a.m. The clebrant will be Monsignor Enda Llyod
