AC/DC was formed in Sydney, Australia, in 1973 by the Young brothers where the band adopted the trademark of wearing school uniforms on stage. They moved to Sydney and met Bon Scott, who became vocalist, but died in 1980. He was replaced by Johnson. After the successful Back In Black album sold 10 million copies, the band were established as one of the best hard rock bands of the time. In the 90's they toured the world and proved to be a massive concert audience puller. |
